The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the only alternative to all political parties in Telangana, said NV Subhash, the party’s state spokesperson on Wednesday. The statement came ahead of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, which are scheduled to take place on December 1.

Subhash said that the BJP has become a force to reckon with in Telangana and that the people of the state are looking to the party as a viable alternative to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Congress. He added that the BJP has been gaining support from all sections of society, including farmers, business community, youth, and women.

“The BJP is the only party that can provide a better and more effective government in Telangana,” Subhash said. “The people of Telangana are fed up with the TRS and its misrule. They want change and they are looking to the BJP to provide that change.”

The spokesperson also accused the TRS of being corrupt and said that the party had failed to deliver on its promises. “The people of Telangana are tired of the corruption and nepotism that have become synonymous with the TRS. They want a party that will work for their welfare and the BJP is that party,” he said.

Subhash also took a jibe at the Congress, which has been struggling to find its feet in the state after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the Congress was a spent force and that it had lost its relevance in Telangana. “The Congress is not even in the race in these elections. The people of Telangana have rejected the Congress and its leaders,” he said.

The GHMC elections are being seen as a litmus test for all the political parties in the state, especially the BJP which is looking to establish itself as a significant force in the region. The party had won four parliamentary seats in the state in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and is now hoping to make a dent in the local body polls.

Subhash said that the BJP was confident of winning the GHMC elections and forming a government in the municipal body. “We have a strong and committed cadre in Hyderabad and we are confident of winning the majority of seats in the municipal body. We will provide a clean and efficient government that will work for the betterment of the people,” he said.

The BJP has launched an aggressive campaign for the GHMC elections, with party leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing rallies in the city. The party has also promised to provide free electricity to households, water supply, and other basic amenities if it comes to power in the municipal body.

However, the party is likely to face stiff competition from the TRS and the Congress, both of which have also launched their campaigns in the city. The TRS has been highlighting its achievements in the last six years and is promising to provide better infrastructure and civic amenities in Hyderabad.

The Congress, on the other hand, is hoping to make a comeback in the state by winning the GHMC elections. The party has been critical of the TRS and the BJP and has promised to provide a corruption-free government if it comes to power.

In conclusion, the BJP seems to be the only alternative to all political parties in Telangana, as NV Subhash has mentioned. This statement will attract the people of Telangana who are tired of the misrule and corruption that has been the norm in the state. The GHMC elections will be a crucial first step for the BJP in establishing itself as a significant force in the region. However, it remains to be seen if it can convert the support it has gained from the people into votes.
